Pantene Pro-V Dry Shampoo review

When we speak about dry shampoos, the choice is endless. I personally spend more time picking dry shampoos than regular ones. The formula, the packaging, the smell and the price... Marketing makes you stay in these shop for ages, not that I complain.

So today I have a new asset to my collection. I picked it up some time ago in December in Superdrug. By far I have only seen three kinds: The Volume Booster, Colour Savior and Instant Fresh. The reason why I get dry shampoos is mainly because I have a lack of volume in the roots of my hair, therefore I got the Volume Booster. The first thing I love about it and you definitely notice is the smell. Very obvious but it does smell pretty nice to me. Quite fresh and it doesn't stay as much. It is white as most of the dry shampoos but you just need a towel to rub in your hair and then comb it through. The cons is that to me it seems a bit sticky something I haven't experienced with dry shampoos so far. It's almost like a hairspray formula so I stopped spraying it on my roots. Instead when I curl my hair I spray it on the curls and brush them out. It does gives them volume and I also noticed that they stay longer. Would I recommend it? I will to anyone who doesn't mind spraying hairspray in their roots as well.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+/Purifying Cleansing Gel review

As a lover of French cosmetic brands, I couldn't resist the temptation of trying one of the most famous skin care brands - La Roche-Posay. On a recent trip to the UK along with many other products I also picked up not one but several of their Effaclar series which is designed for sensitive oily skin. In this post I will review on of my two favorites.

Now the first product that I picked up was of course the their top product - La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ and having in mind all of the great comments I read about it, my expectations were going through the roof. Which also happen to be proven right. The consistency of the cream is light and it sinks in the skin quickly. It definitely works wonders if you use if for a longer period of time, though it really isn't hydrating enough. The most common problem with creams that are targeted for oily or combination skin is that they completely suck out the moisture out of your face. I still use it day and night, though I would recommend to anyone who lives in cold weather or harsh conditions such as wind or if you just have very sensitive skin to consider using a moisturizer on top. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a product that isn't too heavy and it makes you complexion look brighter and your pores smaller. It also does wonder for pigmentation with time. It could be picked up in most pharmacies in Europe for about £15. It also comes in a small plastic tube which is very easy to use.
Disclaimer: There are several formulas of this specific product. Mine was bought in Boot, UK.- European one.

The next one that I picked up was the Effaclar Purifying Cleansing Gel and on various sites I noticed that people were complaining that the gel wouldn't make any foam when applied. What I think though is quite different. I am very pleased with how little you need of this gel. And when you use it, it gets very foam-y. It cleans you skin leaving it fresh without traces of any make-up  and it doesn't make it feel tight afterwards. Another plus of the product is that is with Ph 5.5, a simple solution to sensitive skin. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice cleansing face gel for sensitive skin. It ranges from small plastic tubes to big ones. The price about a 125ml one is about £11.

Along with these two amazing skin care products I got a toner,La Roche-Posay Spring Water, The Effaclar K and Effaclar Mat. To see that review stay updated by following the blog and leaving comments below. Hope you are having a lovely day,

No drought Lush dry shampoo review

Hello beautiful ladies! So the last article that I posted was about dry shampoos. As I mentioned they could be a life saver on a hot day! Actually any day. So I told you about different kinds but this is probably my favorite one. There is something about it that just makes you hair look gorgeous. And like almost everything from Lush(oh, I love it when I enter their shop, the smell is Amazing!) The scent is SO refreshing. It is just amazing. You can get it only at Lush stores and it not very pricey including the fact that is comes in a plastic bottle and it is 115g. Although is not as easy to use as the spray ones just because you have to sprinkle it on your roots or you can put just a little bit on your hand and then work it though. It does absorb all of the oiliness that you may have and gives you a ton of volume. You can basically skip one more day from washing your hair and having amazing hair. I do recommend this product for it's all positive impressions that left me with. Just make sure you use it a bathroom so you don't mess up your furniture.

So that was my review about this amazing in my opinion product! If you have it please leave your comment below or tell me about any other dry shampoo that you have used! Or tweet me for more review you guys want to see!

Dry shampoos

Hello beautiful  ladies! Sorry that I wasn't able to write for such a long time but sadly I had too much on my mind to worry about. Anyway now I have a brand new post which I wanted to share for quite some time. Dry shampoos. Or the way I call them - live savers on a hot day. For those of you that don't know what a dry shampoo is, definitely check them out. Basically you can find them in lots of different packagings. Some are used like sprays and some like powder. Whatever you get it doesn't really matter. Although I should say that the one which are used like a powder are messier. What you basically do is you spray a little bit at the roots of your hair(especially the greasier parts). Then you wait a minute or so and comb the hair out. I usually take a towel first and rub it in my hair to make sure everything wipes out! Then I comb my hair with a brush and you are ready to go. They are also versatile. Because they tend to give you lots of volume(FOR REAL). Like tons of volume and I use them on a daily bases when I need volume in my hear.

1. This is the first dry shampoo that I actually tried and I loved it ever since. It is the  Schauma Cotton Fresh Dry Shampoo. It does have a strong smell though. Which I really like because it makes your hair fresh with volume and it smells amazing. The one and only thing that I don't really like about it is that it doesn't last very long. It is 150ml but if you use it every other day like I do it will not last very much. The price in my opinion is reasonable. It is not that expensive but for the use of it you don't get much.

2. The next one is probably the one I used the most. It is the Balea dry shampoo which you can find only in DM shops only. It is by far the cheapest dry shampoo I own. But it gets the job done. Although I find it a little bit hard to remove the excess shampoo it still makes your hair look better. The smell I would consider pleasant and not that much big of a deal. (it is not that strong as the previous one). I will keep repurchasing this product.

3. The last one that I use quite often is the Syoss Anti-Grease Dry Shampoo. I believe they have another one which targeted for more volume rather than to absorb the unnecessary oils from your roots. But let's face it here. This one has so many negative and positive reviews. For starters it does its job quite well. It does have a very like very very strong smell(mostly considered as discussing, still bearable for me). I can live with it but it does stay for a very long time so you can smell it during the day. The price itself is not that bad including the fact that is 200ml. In my oppinion I will not repurchase this product every now and then although it really makes a difference in your hair.

So if you guys tried any of the products please leave a comment below. Also if you have any suggestions about any other dry shampoo you love please tell. And don't forget to tweet me or just leave a comment. Thanks!

Catrice haul / review

Hello gorgeous friends! Hope you have a great week because I have a new review for you guys with all new 5 products. Ok. Let's hop right in. So last week I saw a promotion on a few Catrice products and later on this name rang a bell. I knew that I know this brand! During the winter while my friend and I were just hanging around looking for new stuff at the drug store there was a lady that did free make-up (like full) and of course we went to see. I totally fell in love with their make-up line. Especially the lipsticks, you guys! They are amazing although I didn't get one this time. Anyway I got some really nice stuff that I want to tell you about. So keep on reading and please comment down below if you have any of these products or other stuff from Catrice that you like.

1. Ok so the first one is the Catrice Skin Finish Compact Powder in the shade 020 natural beige(which I think is the second lightest color). And this product is amazing. Like for real. It really mattifies your skin during the day and I have oily skin. The color is so pretty and pigmented. And it does give you a little bit of coverage. It is just really pigmented but at the same time a natural powder. And the packaging of their products is truly beautiful. They seem so luxurious but really it is not a high-end product. I am really impressed with this brand. So I do recommend this product. If you are looking for a new powder definitely try this one. It is worth it in my opinion.

2. The next thing that I got is a primer. It is called Prime and Fine and it says on the packaging that this is illuminating base for an even and fresh complexion. I honestly love this product. I went and bought another one just to have it. And it is a little bit sparkling but when you put foundation over it can't be seen. The thing about it is that it does make you make up stay longer and it doesn't let your foundation get greasy and stuff. It is really nice actually. I do get a little bit of shine during the day if I am on the go because here is about 30 degrees Celsius but when I apply just a very thin layer of the powder it is all fixed and ready to go!

3. The next thing that I got is a really interesting and weird product but in a good way. It is a lipstain although I didn't find it on their website. So as I said it is a lipstain but it looks like a marker. For drawing. When you apply it on your lips it looks like your lips just get the color and you have absolutely no product on. It is so weird. But I actually really like it. It does stay quite a long time on your lips and it doesn't smudge. It is just like you paint your lips with a marker with a really pretty color. Mine is in the color 040 Don't call me princess.

See how it looks like you have absolutely no lipstick on? It is honestly so nice if you go to school or any other place you are not allowed to wear that much make-up.

4. And then I got an eyeshadow just see if they are still that nice. I was looking for something very bright pinkish kind of color for school because I like to keep my make-up simple and I got the one in color 540 Rose Marie's Baby. And it really looks like a baby pink with a little bit of sparkle but when I applied it, it didn't actually seem to have any color on my eye lids. The shimmer could be seen but the color isn't really that much pigmented. Although I do like they colors I would probably try something more darker next time just to see if they really work.

5. And the last thing that I got is a blush. Although the color that I got is a little bit too dark than I thought I do like the overall product. It is really pigmented and it applies easily on your cheeks.

So that has been my Catrice review / haul. I really hope you guys enjoyed it. If you did please comment down below and tell me about your favorite products. Or tweet me if you have any other requests for a beauty product that you would like to see next.

Favorite mascaras

Hello guys! I am sorry I haven't written these days but here I am with a brand new post. So today as I tweeted I am going to tell you about a few of my favorite mascaras. Hope you enjoy it and if you have any other mascaras that you like please comment down below.

1. Ok! So the fist one I am sure you girls know about. It is the Maybelline Rocket Mascara and it is absolutely amazing. I love this mascara. Typically I am not a person who puts lots of mascara because my lashes are black and I just need a little bit of volume. But that mascara is absolutely amazing. It doesn't make them too big and messy. And it is clump free. At least for me it works best! It is not a high-end product and you can get it in any drugstore that sells Maybelline products.

2. The next one is from Maybelline as well. This one I haven't used in quite a while tough. But it is my all time favorite. It is the Maybelline One By One. And it is actually so so similar to the Rocket one that I hardly see any difference between them. Anyway I love it. It is not expensive at all and it is clump free, it adds volume to your lashes without making them messy.

3. The third one is the L'Oreal Lash Architect 4D. This one is a little bit more expensive than the previous two. But is does such a great job. It really makes you lashes so beautiful and it doesn't make any clumps. I love it and I have used the waterproof one too. So if you haven't checked it out go and do it. It is worth the price in my opinion.
4. And the last one is the Rimmel Scandaleyes. I actually didn't buy it my self. My mom gave it to me because I wanted to try it out and it is amazing. The brush it self is not the best as the other ones but here is a useful tip for you guys. My mom has absolutely stunning lashes every time you look at them but her natural lashes are not black and they are not even that long. However she makes them long and black with the mascara but for curling them she makes the brush a little bit curly. Here is a picture of the original brush and here is how I made this one. It  really makes them curly that way.

So thank you guys. Hope you liked the review. If you did please comment below telling me about your favorite mascaras or tweet me for new beauty products you would like to see next.

Favorite Powders

Hello beauties! So I just wanted to make a quick post about my favorite powders because as I mentioned earlier I have tried many different kinds and I want to share some of them with you. I kind of tried to categorize them. The first one is that I use every day and it has little bit of coverage, the second one is with more coverage and he third one is a loose powder.

Ok guys. You know about this one. I use it on daily bases. It is amazing. It is the Maybelline Dream Mat Powder and I love it. It keeps my shine away and i makes my foundation stay in place during the day. It doesn't have that much coverage but if you are still looking for something other than a loose powder than that might be it. The packaging is super cute and girly. And the one thing that makes this powder even more amazing is that you can have it your purse and use it anywhere. It comes with a mirror and a soft puff to apply it. I personally don't really use it that much  but when I am out and about and I don't have brush then that is amazing. The price I think is reasonable and it is actually not a high-end product. It comes in 4 shades and you can get it in any drug store that sells Maybelline products. If you like that type of powders definitely check this one and it comes in handy when out go out with it.

The next one is with more coverage and I love that one guys! It is from AVON from their Color Trend series. Again it comes with a puff but not that soft as the Maybelline one. The packaging is not that bad although they recently changed it. It comes in 2 shades(at least in my country are 2 only) and they both seem quite dark. Although I am not really pale the colors are just dark. They are kind of pigmented and probably this makes them too dark and with lots of coverage. But again I used it before and I really like it although I don't get it that often any more. It just too heavy for me but if you have a tan give it a try. They are not expensive at all.

And the third one is a loose powder. Now when I went to the drug store I was going to get a mineralized powder but when I saw this one I was really interested in it. So I asked the lady from the drug store and she told me that if I want a powder without actually adding color then the loose powder was the answer. I was going to get an expensive one but she told me to try one from Essence since I was going to try it. And I got the Fixing Loose Powder. And if you just want to set up your make-up without messing it up then you should definitely try it. The packaging is nice but if you want to take it in your purse the you will need lots of other stuff. It doesn't come with a brush and it can make a mess when you open it. So keep that in mind. In the end I really like it but I gave it to my mother because she was actually running out of powders(her skin isn't oily like mine so she doesn't have many powders anyway) and she loved it.

So that was my review guys! Hope you liked it. Please comment below or tweet me for the next review you would like to see. And I will talk to you guys next week!
